Transferring College Credit
Your time in school and the credits you’ve earned can translate into credit you can apply toward your degree at Capital. Here are a few things to keep in mind:
- After you are admitted to Capital, your college transcripts will be reviewed by our staff and faculty to determine course equivalencies. You will receive a report of what courses will transfer to Capital.
- Capital awards college credit for all courses successfully completed at a regionally accredited college/university, except for developmental coursework.
- Capital uses Transferology, an online tool that will help you determine course equivalencies and how your credits may apply to your chosen program of study.
- To see how your individual courses and credits transfer to Capital University from another institution, you can access the Transfer Equivalency Guides. For specific questions, please email the Registrar at registrar@capital.edu.
